The Network of the Rights of the Child together with the 49th Elementary School of Athens and Action Synergy, organised three distance training seminars for teachers on the use of the electronic game “Rights Hero” and on the implementation of workshops related with the raising awareness of students on issues related to the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The seminars were organised on 11, 19 and 24 of October and were addressed to teachers of the last classes of the primary (4th, 5th and 6th grade) andthe first classes of the secondary education with the aim to empower teachers to use the video game as a training material in their schools.
A total of 325 teachers from all over Greece participated. Indicatively, the participants were from Attica, Xanthi, Santorini, Serifos, Thessaloniki, Larissa, Chios, Lesvos, Ioannina, Veroia, Patras, Heraklion, Komotini. In addition, the seminar on 24/10 was implemented in cooperation with the Cultural Affairs Officers of the 1st and 4th Primary Education Directorates of Athens.
